How do skins boosters work?

Skin boosting and Bio-remodelling dermal fillers work from within the skin layers to restore hydration, improve texture and increase firmness. Natural acids attract water to improve the internal hydration levels of the skin, while also stimulating fibroblasts (cells) to produce new collagen and elastin. Both treatments work on skin texture and fine lines, while reaching the deeper layers of the skin, helping it retain water, resulting in a plump, well-hydrated aesthetic. How long do the results last?

Depending on your skin condition, age, lifestyle and use of supporting skin care such as Profilo Haenkenium moisturizer, peak results are usually seen around the two month mark. It is worth noting that with our Bio-remodellers two treatments are required 4 weeks apart. The results last about 6-9 months and we generally recommend that you have a follow up treatment to maintain your results.

What to expect

Skin boosters are a series of micro-injections made into the superficial dermis of the treated area. The treatment is relatively comfortable and takes around 20-30 minutes. Depending on the recommended filler type most suitable to the client, it is injected either with a needle, cannula or injecting gun. We offer topical pain relief if required.

Bio-remodelling injections are a quick and easy treatment with only a few strategically placed injections, taking 10-20 minutes, to treat the face. There is minimal to no downtime. Some small bruising or a little swelling may occur at the injection points right after treatment but these will typically subside within 12 hours. Expect to see improved hydration within 5 days and then a tighter skin over the following weeks as the re-modelling process starts.
